To join AIRJ or renew the annual membership fee, simply follow the steps outlined below:
- Pay the annual membership fee.
- The fees are 2,000 yen for students or early-career researchers (junior membership) and 5,000 yen for all other categories (details are also provided on this page).
- Payment can be made in cash at events or via bank transfer (details are provided on this page).
- If paying by bank transfer, please kindly provide a payment confirmation (photo or PDF) to: tesoreria@airj.info.
- (For new members:) Approval by the Executive Board.
- In accordance with the provisions of the statute, new members must be approved by the Executive Board. Any proposal to reject a new member must be approved by a majority of the Board and must include a justified explanation, which will be communicated to the applicant. In the event of non-approval, the membership fee will be fully refunded.
- Once the Board’s approval has been received, we will send the new member a simple form to fill out with personal information (e-mail, institution, research areas, etc.).
- Issuance of the membership card.
- The membership card will be sent via email.
- A digital receipt is provided along with the membership card.
- If necessary, a paper receipt can also be issued upon explicit request; for example, in cases where an administration requires a hard copy for reimbursement. In such cases, we kindly ask you to contact us at: tesoreria@airj.info.
