Second Symposium of the Italian Researchers in Japan

It is with great pleasure that the AIRJ board, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Tokyo and the Italian Cultural Institute, on the occasion of the Italian Research Day, invites you to participate in the

Second Symposium of the Association of Italian Researchers in Japan (AIRJ)

which will be held on June, 30th 2023 starting at 13:00, at the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo. The event will be in English (except for the educative seminar, which will be in Italian with simultaneous translation into Japanese).

Registration

Registrations oneline are now closed, so posters are no longer accepted for the poster session. Though, it is always possible to register in person directly on site to attend the event.

Membership fee

In order to participate it is necessary to be in good standing with the payment of the membership fee for the year 2023. The grace period for the year 2022 expires on June 30th, so you can register on site during the event in cash, or via PayPal or bank transfer banking (info on the membership page).

Hybrid format

The symposium will be organized in a hybrid format to give the opportunity to participate even to those who are not currently in Japan or are unable to travel to Tokyo, although face-to-face participation is desired (the Zoom link will be provided at a later time).

Post-event networking

The day will end with refreshments kindly offered by the Italian Embassy at the Italian Cultural Institute.

Certificate of attendance and/or invitation

At the end of the event, a certificate of attendance will be provided, which may be useful for reimbursement procedures.
