Prof. Marco Pellegrini, Professore Associato nel dipartimento di ingegneria nucleare all’Università di Tokyo è stato invitato da Cafféscienza Firenze & Prato (https://www.caffescienza.it/) per concludere il ciclo sull’energia nucleare iniziato dopo la decisione della commissione Europea di includere il nucleare nella tassonomia energetica verde.
Prof. Pellegrini ha illustrato come è evoluto il concetto di sicurezza in una centrale nucleare e i tre incidenti principali che hanno caratterizzato l’energia nucleare da fissione: Three Mile Island, Chernobyl e Fukushima Daiichi, con un piccolo excursus sulle tecnologie più moderne.

Prof. Marco Pellegrini, Associate Professor in the nuclear engineering department at the University of Tokyo was invited by Caffèscienza Firenze & Prato (https://www.caffescienza.it/) to conclude the cycle of seminars on nuclear energy, started after the decision of the European commission to include nuclear in the green energy taxonomy.
Prof. Pellegrini illustrated how the concept of safety has evolved in a nuclear power plant and the three main accidents that characterized nuclear fission energy: Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and Fukushima Daiichi, with a small excursus on the most modern technologies.
